Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the fastest-growing skill areas in today’s labour market, with employers increasingly seeking professionals who can design, implement, and manage AI solutions that drive productivity, innovation, and business growth.

Developed by Collège de Bois-de-Boulogne and Cégep de Sainte-Foy and offered in English at John Abbott College, this 780-hour AEC specialization prepares IT professionals to build, deploy, and manage AI systems for real-world applications. Students gain hands-on experience in machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, multimodal AI, reinforcement learning, data engineering, cloud-based AI environments, and AI governance and security. Through an applied integrated project, learners develop a complete AI solution while addressing technical, ethical, security, and business considerations.

Full Stack Developer

AEC Programs | Daytime | Full-time

The Full-Stack Developer program is a full-time credit program that leads to an Attestation of College Studies (A.E.C.). The objective of the Full-Stack Developer (FSD) program is to provide hands-on, up-to-date training using current industry-standard methodologies and technologies.
This program is 1,305 hours in length, delivered over the course of five semesters. The program includes 17 courses, including an internship. By the end of the program, students will have attained 16 competencies, and be prepared to enter the labour market with a well-rounded set of skills.

Network Administration

AEC Programs | Daytime | Full-time

The Network Administration program trains students to be Network Support Technicians. Upon completion of this program, students will be able to understand different network protocols, install, maintain network software, troubleshoot and manage a computer network, as well as respond to the network users’ need.

Cybersecurity: Prevention and Intervention

The Cybersecurity: Prevention and Intervention program is a full-time, 570-hour credit program leading to an AEC. Designed for aspiring cybersecurity technicians, with employment history in the field, this program prepares students to protect technological infrastructures, detect intrusions, and respond to security incidents using industry-standard tools and techniques.
