Graphic & Web Design
In just under 7 months of full-time study, students in the Graphic and Web Design program will acquire the top creative skills reflective of the contemporary aesthetic in demand by today’s powerhouse businesses. They will develop a “designer’s eye,” becoming proficient at the fundamentals of good design for web and print, knowing what looks good and why.
Full Stack Developer
The Full-Stack Developer program is a full-time credit program that leads to an Attestation of College Studies (A.E.C.). The objective of the Full-Stack Developer (FSD) program is to provide hands-on, up-to-date training using current industry-standard methodologies and technologies.
This program is 1,305 hours in length, delivered over the course of five semesters. The program includes 17 courses, including an internship. By the end of the program, students will have attained 16 competencies, and be prepared to enter the labour market with a well-rounded set of skills.
Mobile Application Development
This program, leading to the Attestation d’études collégiales, provides specialized training to meet the increasing needs for labour in this sector. Students will receive hands-on training in the development of mobile apps, establishing the foundation necessary to develop native and web-based apps, both on the iOS and Android mobile platforms.
Network Administration
The Network Administration program trains students to be Network Support Technicians. Professional Integration into Nursing in Quebec for Internationally Educated Nurses
John Abbott’s Attestation d’études collégiales (AEC) Integration into the nursing profession in Quebec was implemented by the Ministère de Santé et des Services Sociaux (MSSS) in 2005. The program aims to help the Quebec nursing shortage by training foreign nurses to study, live and work in Quebec. The AEC structure includes a combination of on-site labs, theoretical classes, and hands-on training in various Montreal region hospitals. Upon program completion, students are prepared to take the professional provincial nursing exam offered by the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ) and start their careers in the Quebec healthcare system
